Inspection of finished product including aluminum ingot and sows.
Responsibilities:
Weigh finished goods by use of scales, record weights, and report inventory as needed.
Ability to operate mobile equipment.
Transport and stage material in the finished goods warehouse.
Verify that production samples meet customer specifications.
Notify Quality Manager if non-conformances are identified.
File samples and data, generate certificates of analysis, and statistical data as needed.
Follow and update work instructions as required.
Assay receiving, purchasing, and sales department samples for chemical composition and recovery rates.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5-S.
Clean and maintain lab equipment.
Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment.
Perform procedural auditing such as:
JSA's and SOP's in all areas of the plant.
Special projects as necessary.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of manufacturing experience Problem solving skills Advanced math skills Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with attention to detail Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers Strong computer skills and working knowledge of:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AX Steel Dynamics Inc.
