We are looking for an Estimator! MBS SOFTWARE A MUST! Experience in estimating within the pre-engineering metal buildings (PEMB).
Specific product knowledge of PEMB, building codes, standards, architectural/structural drawings, specifications, and excellent communication, both verbal and written.

Responsible for designing and estimating highly multifaceted building structures; including pre-engineering metal buildings (PEMB) and conventional structural steel buildingsType up all estimates in our in-house computer program; enter takeoffs, drawing numbers, etc.
Read and interpret job bid instructions, detailed specifications, prepare a takeoff of materials included in the job, materials, buyout items, equipment costs to prepare a thorough price estimate.
Demonstrated leadership ability to coordinate a team to develop an estimateWork directly with the Account Manager to understand the size and scope of projects and timelines, and applicable project deadlines.
Understand project logistics and project scheduleUnderstand all bid documents and assess project risksBe comfortable to discuss alternative recommendations on projects in which management requires alternative estimates to meet client needs.

Qualifications:
Must be proficient in the use of computers and a variety of software programs INCLUDING MBS!Proven knowledge and experience with pre-engineered metal buildings design and ability to read, analyze, and comprehend technical plans and drawingsPrepare estimates and different levels of completion (Conceptual, Schematic, DD, CD, etc.
)Vast experience designing and estimating highly complex pre-engineered steel structuresExperience working on projects ranging from one hundred thousand to five million dollars.
